Spring is ALMOST here, and I AM looking forward to this new season and all of the wonderful possibilities it will bring. Now if you’re anything like me, you’re not too amped to see the pollen that usually rolls around to enhance your sinus cavity Awareness but you’re definitely READY to see pretty and vibrant flowers, lighter days, and warmer weather! AM I right?
But Spring is more than just a season, it’s a symbolization of renewed hope and new beginnings. That means… what once was dead is now ALIVE & actively ready to GROW and BLOOM e-x-a-c-t-ly into what it was meant to BE.
Do you remember how much enthusiasm and MO-TI-VA-TION you initially had to start working towards your goals? You were excited about what you were doing, and everything was going in the right direction until well…life kicked in. You hit a roadblock, the most dreadful part of your journey, that makes you question if what you’re doing is really right for YOU.
I know how you felt because I’ve been there. Not once, not twice, but PLENTY of times.

I remember 2 years ago how much enthusiasm and motivation I had about launching this blog. I was DE-TER-MINED to run a successful blog. Whatever that meant. But… there was a slight problem. I was sooo NERVOUS about sharing my content with the world. To say that I was excited about writing & posting new content each month was a HUGE understatement. Overtime, I was struggling to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Life always felt like it was moving full speed. I started running OUT of ideas and became completely overwhelmed, uninspired, & yep you guessed it… STUCK. NOW…coming up with something to write about was even more difficult to do.

That same passion that I once had was beginning to fade. I was starting to doubt & question my abilities and if I could even keep this unique idea going. After a long period of freaking out and praying, I came to the realization that I needed to take a BLOGGING break so that I could focus more on myself and get back into realignment with my purposeful intentions that I began with. Once I surrendered to the problem, the answers came. I started feeling refreshed and renewed day by day. Before long, everything began to FLOW again & Before YOU know it… my PASSION had returned.
Maybe your story isn’t exactly like mine, but my point is that whatever you once had enthusiasm and motivation for can be returned because what was once dead can certainly be REVIVED.

You see our life is a lot like the seasons, especially Winter and Spring. As the seasons change, so do we. In the Winter, there is less sunshine, and the days are shorter and duller. But in the spring, there is more sunshine, and the days are longer and brighter. The grass grows greener, and the flowers begin to BLOOM. Seasons can definitely teach us a lot of lessons about life and serve as reminder that things can CONSTANTLY change.
So why stop our progress based off of what is happening in the moment? All we need is a NEW PERSPECTIVE to help shift us from one way of looking at our challenges to a NEW way of looking at them. This is what gives us HOPE. And if you have forgotten how powerful hope is, let me remind you a little about this ACTION.
Hope… It can be defined as “an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes with respect to events and circumstances in one’s life or the world at large. In other words, to EXPECT with CONFIDENCE!”
Hope is something we ALL NEED. It is as important to the health of our souls as water and oxygen is to our bodies.
HOPE changes Everything! It is a confidence born from a relationship with the God that makes ALL things anew. (Day 3: Devotional Confidence Sanctus Real)

As winter is coming to an END & spring is slowly approaching, here are
5 Things Spring Can Teach Us About Life:
So, the next time you’re working towards your goal(s), and you hit that dreadful part, let Spring SERVE YOU as a motivation and remind you that it’s okay to take a break and start anew. Sometimes all you really need is a little more inspiration from others to remember WHY you started in the first place.
- No matter what our current circumstances look like, remain HOPEFUL because better days are definitely ahead.
- We don’t know what the future holds for us, but we can TRUST & believe that new beginnings and opportunities are awaiting.
- The pretty and vibrant flowers remind us that we CAN & will grow and BLOOM into who we are created to Be.
- It’s okay to press the reset button as many times as you need to.
- You may feel like you’re stuck and not making progress, but your season is coming. Just like trees that lose their leaves in the winter, they will RETURN in the spring.
